BENZIGER RECEPTION & DINNER AT THE BERKELEY WINE FESTIVAL
We invite you to join Chris Benziger and be a part of the Berkeley Wine Festival in its inaugural year.
Modeled after the prestigious Boston Wine Festival and promising to become an annual local series, the Berkeley Wine Festival will take place this spring at the Claremont with wine maker dinners in the newly opened Meritage restaurant. The Festival will begin with a grand opening reception, followed by eight evenings of dinners featuring world class wineries.
The Benziger Reception takes place on March 24th. Chris Benziger will offer the single vineyard reserve and estate wines, plus the signature Tribute blend throughout the evening's four course meal, which will feature organic ingredients prepared by Executive Chef Thomsen.
Chef Daniel Bruce, creator of the Boston Wine Festival, believes the Claremont is the perfect location to expand the Wine Festival because of its beautiful interior, unmatched bay views and Berkeley's close proximity to top wine producing regions. In fact, this premier year will showcase wines from Napa and Sonoma. We invite you to be a part of the Berkeley Wine Festival in its inaugural year. Benziger Winery & Infineon Raceway Dinner at Fior d'Italia Restaurant
The legendary Fior d’Italia Restaurant in the historic North Beach district of San Francisco will host a night of incredible food, Benziger Family wines, and Infineon Raceway's season preview on Thursday, March 11.
The night, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., will feature a wonderful five-course meal prepared by Chef Gianni Audieri paired with fine wines from Benziger Winery (www.benziger.com). Kathy Benziger, winery partner, will be on-hand to talk about Benziger’s Biodynamic®, organic and sustainable farming practices and how they equate to distinctive quality in wines.

The night will also feature a video preview of Infineon Raceway’s (www.infineonraceway.com) upcoming race season, as well as a raffle with great prizes, including a Fior d’Italia Gift Certificate and a NASCAR-themed race package from Infineon Raceway.

Benziger Family Winery's 3rd Annual Pinot Noir Winemaker's Dinner

Winemakers Mike Benziger and Rodrigo Soto will lead us through our collection of limited production, single vineyard and estate Pinot Noir. Each wine will be paired with its own course specially designed by the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn to highlight its unique characteristics.

Taste of the Good Life - February 13th & 14th
This Valentine's Day Weekend, sneak off to Sonoma Valley where a one-day pass entitles you to sample gourmet cheeses by John Raymond Cheese Monger, fresh local sushi from Shiso Sushi, bites from the famous Girl and the Fig Caters, and paella from Gerards's Paella at Benziger Family Winery and Imagery Estate Winery. There will be live music and new wine releases, including the first ever release of Imagery's Aleatico Rose and the 2009 Benziger Grenache Rose. Hop between both wineries and experience the good life in wine country.
The event is Saturday and Sunday, February 13th and February 14th, from 11am until 4pm.
